UE Pro unveils new universal IEMs
- UE Pro will introduce a new line of universal in-ear monitors (IEMs) at NAMM 2024, separate from their custom IEMs.
- The line includes three models: UE 150, UE 250, and UE 350, each with unique sound signatures and a new PerForm Fit design.
- Prices range from $199 to $399, with pre-orders available now and shipping starting February 26.
For aspiring musicians and seasoned performers alike, Ultimate Ears’ Pro division has unveiled its latest innovation ahead of the 2024 NAMM show in Anaheim — a new line of universal fit in-ear monitors (IEMs) featuring a new PerForm Fit design that the company says will provide a comfortable fit and won’t fall out, a tight seal that blocks out stage noise to protect your hearing.
The new line consists of three models: the UE 150, UE 250, and UE 350, each designed to cater to different audio preferences and performance needs.
- The UE 150 ($199) is intended to be an introductory option for those new to using in-ear monitors. The UE 150 features a single dynamic speaker and promises no “hype” or enhancement in the high or low frequencies.
- The UE 250 ( $299) targets drummers, DJs, bassists, and musicians who want more low-end, featuring dual drivers and a two-way crossover that promises a tight bass response and detailed highs.
- The UE 350 ($399) is the most primo option, said to work with most instruments and music genres. The company claims it delivers clarity and volume across the width of the frequency range, featuring three drivers and a two-way crossover.
Pre-orders for these IEMs are open, with shipping slated to begin on February 26. Each model comes with a carry case, foam or silicone ear tips, and a 50-inch IPX T2 cable. Stay tuned for our on-the-ground coverage at NAMM 2024 for our hands-on impressions of these IEMs.
