TOZO announces Golden X2 Pro earbuds with AI translation
- The dual-driver design pairs 12mm dynamic drivers with Knowles balanced armatures.
- Features AI-powered translation and transcription through the companion app.
- Includes LDAC support, adaptive ANC, and a touchscreen case.
TOZO has unveiled its latest flagship wireless earbuds, the Golden X2 Pro. It features a dual-driver acoustic system and AI-powered features that set it apart from typical TWS offerings.
The Golden X2 Pro combines 12mm dynamic drivers with Knowles balanced armatures, aiming to deliver improved audio, mainly with LDAC codec compatibility and Hi-Res Wireless Audio certification.
But what makes the Golden X2 Pro interesting isn’t just its acoustic design — it’s the integration of AI features through the TOZO app. Users can access real-time translation during face-to-face conversations, transcribe speech, and generate meeting notes. While these features aren’t new to the wireless earbud market, they’re noteworthy additions to TOZO’s lineup.
The charging case sports a 1.47-inch full-color touchscreen display that shows battery status and weather updates and allows users to adjust various settings without reaching for their phone. It’s housed in an aluminum alloy body with wireless charging capability.
On the noise cancelation front, the Golden X2 Pro employs a hybrid ANC system using six microphones (feedforward + feedback) purported to achieve up to -50dB of noise reduction. The system adapts to ambient noise conditions in real-time, while a separate three-mic array handles voice pickup during calls.
Additional features include IPX7 water resistance, head-tracking spatial audio using TDK sensors, and Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity. The earbuds support dual-device connection and include wear detection for auto-play/pause functionality.
TOZO hasn’t announced pricing or availability details yet, but given the feature set, these will likely compete in the premium TWS segment. We’ll update this post when we receive more information.
