We’ve been patiently waiting for Spotify Wrapped 2024 to arrive, and it has finally appeared (with a bang). Beyond seeing your listening stats, you can now take an AI journey that will dive into your listening trends, and tell you more about your favorite artists. We’ve outlined all the new features below.
Your Spotify Wrapped AI Podcast
This Spotify Wrapped AI Podcast feature, powered by Google’s NotebookLM, brings your music year to life through a personalized podcast hosted by two AI personalities. Together, they’ll explore your top songs, artists, and genres, recounting your listening trends and the moments that defined your 2024 in music.
To access the Spotify Wrapped AI Podcast, open your Spotify app. Click on the 2024 wrapped banner on the home or search tab, and then tap on “Your Wrapped AI Podcast”.
AI DJ Joins the Party
Spotify’s AI DJ, a fan-favorite for curated music sessions, is now part of Wrapped. As your musical guide, the AI DJ will provide insightful commentary about your 2024 music habits, including expert analysis from Spotify editors about the year’s biggest tracks and artists. It’s a personal music storyteller, tailored just for you.
To listen to your AI DJ Wrapped, open the Spotify app, tap on 2024 Wrapped, and then tap on “DJ: Wrapped”.
Custom AI Playlists for Premium Users
Premium Spotify users can now craft bespoke playlists as part of their Wrapped experience. The new AI Playlist feature allows you to create custom lists based on prompts like “a playlist of my top genres” or “artists similar to my top 5.” Spotify’s AI will do the heavy lifting, generating playlists that reflect your unique music journey.
You can create your own Spotify Wrapped AI Playlist by opening up the Spotify app, tapping on 2024 Wrapped, and then tapping on “Ask AI Playlist”.
