They are also high-end, expensive headphones, though. Every now and then, we find them discounts, and today’s deal is the hottest we’ve ever seen. You can get the Sony WH-1000XM5 for just $290, which is a new record-low price for these headphones.
This deal is available only from Walmart. This more significant discount only applies to the Black and Silver color versions. Those who want the Midnight Blue Model can still save a nice amount of cash, but the price is slightly higher at $304. There’s no sign of this being part of any particular campaign, and the deal is only available from Walmart, so we’re not sure how long the sale will last.
The Sony WH-1000XM5 headphones are nothing short of amazing. These compete only with the best out there, and many would believe they are the best, including us. The minimal design is good-looking and solid-feeling, and these are very comfortable, even for people with larger ears.
Of course, sound quality is outstanding, and ANC is among the best out there. Even the microphone is outstanding. You also get plenty of support and features, including Bluetooth Multipoint, Find My Device support, and plenty of Bluetooth codecs, including LDAC, AAC, and SBC. It’s also nice to see you also get wired connectivity through a 3.5mm headset jack.
Battery life is amazing, too. Our standardized tests yielded over 32 hours with ANC on, and more than a whopping 53 hours with ANC turned off.
Again, this is a record-low price we’ve never seen before. The closest deal was during Amazon Prime Day, when the Sony WH-1000XM5 were $298. And since this deal is only available from Walmart, we have no idea how long it will last. You might want to buy your pair sooner rather than later.
Extra deal for iPhone users
Our list of the best headphones also mentions the best headphones for iPhone users are the Apple AirPods Max. These are even more expensive at $549, but right now you can save a bunch on them if you’re willing to get the Pink color model. The price is reduced to $429, but you can grab other color versions for $449-$469, depending on which one you pick.
These headphones are impressive, featuring the metallic, minimalist design Apple is so known for. They are also very comfortable. Sound quality and ANC performance are outstanding. Of course, you’ll get a bunch of awesome features, such as direct access to Siri, multi-device support, solid connection strength, and more. Battery life is also really nice, at about 21 hours. Apple users can’t go wrong with these!
