Beoplay P2 is a compact Bluetooth speaker with a 10-hour battery life
B&O Play has released a new Bluetooth speaker that promises to deliver a great sound in a compact body. Called the Beoplay P2, it fits in the palm of your hand and is made from pearl-blasted aluminum, leather, and rubber.
The manufacturer claims that the 2,200 mAh battery should last for up to 10 hours at a moderate listening level. Once it runs out of juice, you’ll need around two hours to fully charge it. It only has one button located on the back, as you are able to control the speaker with the help of the Beoplay app for mobile devices. You can also play, pause, or skip tracks just by shaking the device.
The Beoplay P2 speaker is splash-resistant, sports a USB Type-C port, and has a built-in microphone that can be used for calls and voice activation — supports Apple Siri and Google Now voice commands. It’s available in three different colors: Black, Sand Stone, and Royal Blue. The compact device is also very light, as it only weighs 9.7 ounces or 275 grams.
Those of you interested in getting the speaker will be happy to hear that it’s already available. You can get if for $169 from Amazon or the company’s website by clicking a button below.
