This week, Plantronics announced its newest enterprise-focused headset, the Voyager 6200 UC.  It’s the first such Bluetooth-based neckband headset from the company.

The Voyager 6200 UC includes four omni-directional microphones that will cover sound in all directions for a better audio experience. It also supports both active and passive noise cancellation, along with wideband audio support. Enterprise customers who use Microsoft Skype for Business to communicate will be happy to learn that the Voyager 6200 UC is certified for that app. It also supports other apps such as Cisco Jabber, Microsoft Teams, and more.

The Bluetooth wireless range of the headsets is 30 feet and its battery offers up to nine hours of talk time, or up to 16 hours of listening time. The headset can be used with the company’s Plantronics Manager Pro subscription service (sold separately), which lets business IT managers monitor, manage, and maintain those devices throughout the company, along with sending out firmware improvements and a way to detect any compatibility issues.

The Plantronics Voyager 6200 UC is meant for business and enterprise customers, and as such it comes with a pretty premium price tag. Companies can purchase the headset now, in either black or sand colors, for $299.95.
