JLab releases Gravity Bluetooth earbud adaptor
Ever pine for Bluetooth headphones, but you’re not ready to give up your wired in-ears yet? JLab Audio has a new product that may interest you: the Gravity.
Essentially a Bluetooth receiver dongle that’s shaped like an LG Tone, JLab’s Gravity earbud adaptor offers a way to breathe new life into your old workout buds. While Bluetooth isn’t perfect, it’s a fantastic way to ditch the headaches associated with wired headphones. With a product like the Gravity earbud adaptor, you don’t have to choose anymore with your in-ears: you could switch it up whenever you want. Just plug and play… literally.
The Gravity comes with earbuds if you don’t have your own, but it works with just about any set of earbuds: Beats, Etymotic, Sennheiser—you name it. For gym rats, the unit itself carries an IPX4 rating—meaning it can take a splash or sweat. Additionally, the Gravity boasts 10 hours of music playback time, as well as a multi-function control panel on the left arm of the unit. If your in-ears don’t have a remote, the Gravity will grant you that functionality.
The Gravity earbud adaptor will go on sale for $39.99 online and in stores sometime in June.
