  • The GO Pods ANC ($36.99) and JBuds Pods ANC ($64.99) offer hybrid ANC, long battery life, and app customization. Available May 13.

JLab has announced three new wireless earbuds for budget—and sport-focused listeners. The launch includes two new stem-style models with hybrid active noise canceling and a premium open-ear model, marking a first for the brand. The GO Pods ANC ($36.99) and JBuds Pods ANC ($64.99) aim to provide accessible noise canceling options with a long battery life. Meanwhile, the Epic Open Sport ($114.99) targets fitness enthusiasts and outdoor users who like to maintain environmental awareness while listening to their music.

Affordable ANC with plenty of playtime

Both new entries in the Pods series follow the increasingly common stemmed earbud design. The GO Pods ANC offers a basic but serviceable spec sheet for their sub-$40 price point, including hybrid ANC and 26+ hours of battery life. The more feature-rich JBuds Pods ANC add spatial audio, six microphones for calls and ANC, and wireless charging while extending playback up to 56+ hours with the case.

These features position the JBuds Pods ANC competitively in the under-$70 category, though real-world performance remains to be seen.

Open-ear design with Hi-Res certification

The JLab Epic Open Sport is Hi-Res certified with LDAC support.

The Epic Open Sport enters a different niche. With a design that rests outside the ear canal, it’s intended for users who want to remain aware of their surroundings—commuters, runners, and cyclists in particular. It’s also JLab’s first open-ear product to receive Hi-Res Audio certification, featuring 14.2mm drivers that support LDAC for Android and AAC for iOS. Unlike bone-conduction models, this approach focuses on balancing ambient awareness with sound quality rather than transmitting vibrations through the cheekbones.

The fit is adjustable via flexible ear hooks, and the headset includes physical controls along with four microphones to improve voice clarity.

Availability and pricing

The Epic Open Sport will be available on April 22, while the GO Pods ANC and JBuds Pods ANC will follow on May 13. All three models will be sold directly via JLab’s website and major electronic retailers.
