JBL refreshes it's wireless earbuds lineup with ANC across the board
- The new generation of JBL earbuds includes the Endurance Race 2 ($79.95), Vibe series ($59.95-$69.95), and Tune series ($99.95), plus wired Tune 520C ($39.99)
- Active noise canceling now comes standard on all new wireless models, including the budget-friendly Vibe series.
- All new models feature Bluetooth 5.3 and improved battery life, promising up to 48 hours of total playback time.
JBL has brought some welcome updates to its entire wireless earbuds lineup, with the Endurance, Tune, and Vibe series, including the entry-level Vibe series, all receiving active noise canceling (ANC).
The new Endurance Race 2 ($79.95) leads the sports-focused lineup with an improved IP68 rating for waterproofing and dustproofing, up from the previous generation’s IPX7. Battery life sees a boost to a promised 48 hours total (12 hours on the buds, 36 in the case) with ANC off, while “Sports Mode” lets users customize ambient sound settings for different workout environments.
In the budget segment, the Vibe series (starting at $59.95) now includes ANC on both the Buds 2 and Beam 2 models—a feature previously reserved for more expensive options. These models pack 8mm drivers, four microphones for calls, and 40 hours of total battery life with ANC off.
The Tune series ($99.95) represents the most premium offering, featuring adaptive noise canceling (versus standard ANC on other models) and spatial audio support. The lineup maintains its 10mm drivers and includes six microphones for improved call quality.
For users preferring wired options, JBL also revealed the Tune 520C ($39.99), USB-C wired on-ear headphones with high-res audio support and built-in controls.
All new models will be available starting March 2025, with each series offering three different wearing styles: traditional earbuds, stemmed “Beam” designs, and open-ear “Flex” options to suit your preferred style. Stay tuned for our full reviews when these models become available.
