JBL has introduced its Live 3 earbud series at CES 2024, alongside Soundgear Sense open-ear earbuds and Tune 310C in-ear USB-C headphones.
JBL Live 3 series
The Live 3 earbuds feature the Smart Charging Case technology previously seen in the JBL Tour Pro 2 and come in three styles: Buds, Beam, and Flex, aiming to cater to different user preferences for fit and comfort.
The Smart Charging Case allows users to interact with their earbuds via a 1.45-inch LED touch display, such as to adjust volume and toggle ANC. However, you may still want to use your mobile phone to perform the Ear Canal Test in the JBL Headphones app to ensure a more personalized listening experience.
All three models support Hi-Res Audio and feature JBL Signature Sound. Following an OTA update at a later stage, the earbuds will use Bluetooth 5.3 for multipoint connectivity, promising stable connections and extended battery life. Each will be available in Black and Silver and have an IP55 dust and water resistance rating.
