Only two days ago, we got a leak claiming that Sony would launch new earbuds and headsets for its gaming brand INZONE. Now the company has officially announced the products and provided details. Here is everything you need to know about Sony’s gaming headsets, from price and specs to availability.

INZONE Buds

The INZONE Buds WF-G700 are the first in-ear headphones from the INZONE line. As with other accessories from this brand, the earbuds are specially made for gaming purposes on PlayStation or PC. One of the biggest features that will appear in these earbuds is INZONE’s 360 Spatial Sound.

In terms of gaming, this feature will allow players to locate the direction and distance where a sound was made. Such an ability would come in handy when trying to find enemies in the multiplayer shooter you’re playing. Sony says users will also be able to create a personalized hearing profile by taking photos of the user’s ears using the 360 Spatial Sound Personalizer smartphone app.

To further enhance the gaming advantage, the Buds offer latency as low as 30 milliseconds. This is, in part, due to the USB-C transceiver that comes in the charging case.

Other features include active noise cancelation (ANC), Ambient Sound mode, and Sony’s Dynamic Driver X. This is the same driver used for wide-frequency reproduction in the excellent WF-1000XM5 earbuds.

Another interesting twist is you’ll be able to squeeze 12 hours of battery life out of these earbuds if you’re connected via Bluetooth Low Energy (LE Audio) and have ANC turned off. That number is bumped up to 24 hours when you include the charging case. This is possible due to a new energy-saving chip Sony has produced called the L1.

INZONE H5

Moving onto the headsets, the INZONE H5 will be the cheaper model. According to Sony, this headset is built to be lightweight with low side pressure for comfortable long gaming sessions. Like the earbuds, these cans will take advantage of the 360 spatial audio feature and offer AI-based noise reduction.

In addition, it can be used wirelessly with a 2.4GHz wireless connection or you can choose to use the 3.5mm wired connection. It also fits in a bi-directional boom microphone that ensures your teammates can hear you loud and clear. And you can expect the battery to last you up to 28 hours.

INZONE H9

The INZONE H9 was part of the initial launch of the INZONE lineup. While the INZONE H9 is not new, its black colorway is. Outside of that, you get all of the features that were there previously, including 360 Spatial Sound for Gaming, noise canceling, and high-quality audio.

All three products are available for pre-order in your choice of black or white on Sony.com or Amazon. The Buds, H5, and H9 will cost you $199.99, $149.99, and $299.99, respectively.
