Bowers & Wilkins has introduced the Px7 S3, its latest wireless noise canceling headphones, featuring redesigned internals, improved ergonomics, and expanded support for high-resolution audio.

The Px7 S3 succeeds the Px7 S2e with key hardware upgrades, including new 40mm drivers and discrete headphone amplifiers for the first time in a Bowers & Wilkins over-ear model. These changes are designed to reduce distortion and enhance sound detail and dynamics. Wireless streaming supports Qualcomm’s aptX Adaptive and aptX Lossless codecs for high-resolution playback.

For wired listening, the Px7 S3 supports both USB-C audio and 3.5mm analog connections via included cables. While the headphones themselves do not have a dedicated 3.5mm jack, analog playback is possible through a USB-C to 3.5mm cable.

Active noise cancelation is said to have been improved with a new eight-microphone array. Two additional microphones assist with voice clarity during calls, supported by ADI’s Pure Voice technology. Battery life is stated to last up to 30 hours with ANC enabled, with a 15-minute fast charge providing up to seven hours of playback.

The Px7 S3 also features a slimmer design, revised physical button controls, and upgraded memory foam earcups for enhanced comfort. Both the ear cushions and headband are now replaceable via Bowers & Wilkins’ service department.

Users can adjust sound settings through the Bowers & Wilkins Music app, which includes a five-band EQ with preset options. The company has confirmed that spatial audio support and Bluetooth LE Audio—including Auracast broadcasting and LC3 codec—will be delivered via firmware updates later in 2025.

The headphones will be available in Anthracite Black, Indigo Blue, and Canvas White. Pricing and availability details for North and Latin America are still pending due to the uncertainty of the tariff situation.
