Bose's new SoundLink speaker aims to refine home audio

Bose has announced its latest addition to the SoundLink family: the SoundLink Home Bluetooth Speaker. Releasing today, this new device promises to deliver room-filling sound in a sleek package designed to match any home environment.
The SoundLink Home boasts a full-range transducer with dual passive radiators, aiming to provide deep bass and clear audio across all frequencies. Its compact size and light weight make it easily portable, and a built-in stand allows it to be propped up on any surface.
Connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.3 and USB-C, with support for both SBC and AAC codecs and multipoint connectivity to switch between multiple devices. A built-in microphone enables hands-free calling and access to native voice assistants.
Bose claims up to 9 hours of battery life under normal usage, with 2.5 hours available at maximum volume. The device can apparently be fully recharged in 4 hours.
As is becoming more common with portable speakers, the SoundLink Home will support Stereo Mode, allowing users to link two SoundLink Home Bluetooth Speakers together for stereo playback. This setup designates one speaker as the right channel and the other as the left, making for a better overall listening experience.
The SoundLink Home Bluetooth Speaker features a brushed anodized aluminum body with a fabric grille. It’s available in Light Silver and Cool Grey (with an additional Warm Wood option exclusive to China) and is priced at $219 in the US.
