Why we love these audio deals
We won’t recommend any deals on products we don’t find value in. All of these are Sound Guys favorites, or products we believe are worth your hard-earned money. Let’s go over each together and tell you why we think you should consider these offers.
Sony WH-1000XM5
The Sony WH-1000XM5 are at the same $298 price we saw them through Black Friday and Cyber Monday, which is still an all-time low for these. While not exactly cheap, the 25% discount is very welcomed, considering these are highly respected by pretty much all industry experts. We have them listed as the top option in our list of the best headphones, and very few competitors even come close to offering the same general experience.
These offer amazing audio quality and outstanding ANC performance. They are also very nicely designed, offering a minimalist look, and they are also very comfortable. Because they are premium headphones, you will also get fancy features like Bluetooth Multipoint, Findy My Device support, touch gestures, auto pausing, and even a physical 3.5mm headset jack for those who prefer a wired connection.
If you care about battery life, that is another department where the Sony WH-1000XM5 excel. We ran them through our standardized tests and managed to get more than 32 hours with ANC enabled. And if you don’t need ANC, disabling it will extend that all the way to a whopping 53 hours!
Sony WH-1000XM4
I don’t know about you, but to me, paying nearly $300 for a pair of headphones still hurts, no matter how amazing they are. Those who want an amazing experience at a lower price will find better value in the Sony WH-1000XM4, the previous-generation model.
Ignore the 2020 release date. These are still awesome in 2024. In our full Sony WH-1000XM4 review, we praised these headphones for their outstanding sound quality and ANC performance. While the XM5s will outperform them, the difference will not be that significant. These still sound exquisite and can block external sound very efficiently.
While older, these launched as a high-end product, so everything else about the XM4s will be awesome. They are designed nicely and built solidly. You’ll still get high-end features like Bluetooth Multipoint, auto pausing, touch gestures, and more. Battery life lags a bit behind at about 24 hours, but that’s not exactly bad either!
Considering you can save yourself $100 at these discounted prices, we believe these are actually a better value proposition compared to the Sony WH-1000XM5.
Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 Pro
Not only are these significantly cheaper than the $249.99 retail price, but Amazon is throwing in a free $20 gift card! Samsung users will love the Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 Pro. These high-end earbuds offer excellent audio quality and pretty decent ANC performance, blocking about 76% of external noise. The tips help isolate sound and provide a better fit, too.
Of course, we ran these through our tests and managed to get about four and a half hours of battery life. It’s not exactly jaw-dropping, but it’s a fair battery life for wireless earbuds. It’s nice that you get an IP57 rating, especially for those of you who may want to work out with these.
There are also plenty of advanced features here. You can use touch, swipe, and pressing gesture controls, as well as voice commands. These support 360-degree audio and Find My. Just remember that there are some Samsung-exclusive features, like auto-switching between Samsung devices, sound detection, and AI features. The latter include real-time translations, voice notes, and siren detection to disable ANC in case of emergencies.
JLab JBuds Lux ANC
The JLab JBuds Lux ANC are our top pick in our list of the best affordable headphones, and that is at their full $79.99 retail price. Walmart is offering them for a mere $29, making this an absolute steal.
We didn’t have many complaints in our JLab JBuds Lux ANC review, but make sure to adjust your expectations. These are $29 headphones, so don’t expect a high-end experience. That said, these get the fundamentals right and even throw in some nice treats we didn’t expect.
These headphones fit very comfortably, with nice padding in the cups and headband. They also feature both Bluetooth and USB-C listening, which is nice for those who want connection versatility. The audio quality is relatively good, too. While the ANC performance won’t win any awards, it’s pretty decent. We’re surprised that feature is even present! Battery life is quite outstanding, at about 44 hours.
Marshall Tufton
This Marshall Tufton deal is actually quite special, because it wasn’t even discounted during Black Friday or Cyber Monday. This sale showed up after those events! It’s also a very hefty discount on a portable speaker that is very rarely on sale. Marshall is selling it for just $229.99, a $220 discount on the $449.99 retail price.
This is Marshall’s best truly portable speaker. It runs on a battery that can last over 20 hours, and can be carried around wherever you go. That said, it’s also pretty large and heavy, measuring 9.02 x 6.42 x 13.78in and weighing in at 10.8lbs.
It’s also a really good speaker, though. There’s a 40W woofer, two 15W full-range drivers, and a 10W tweeter inside. Of course, you will also get that signature Marshall design and build quality. It looks gorgeous, and Marshall speakers are famous for their construction. You’ll even get an IPX2 rating for light water resistance.
Go get these deals before they end, guys! These are kind of running overtime by now, and we’re not sure when the prices will jump back to normal.
