We wouldn’t pay retail price for anything right now, and the Apple AirPods Pro 2 are cheaper than ever. You can get them for just $154!

We just recently reported on a great deal on the Apple AirPods Pro 2, but offers seem to be getting hotter as we approach actual Black Friday, and the Apple AirPods Pro 2 are even cheaper today. In fact, this is the cheapest we’ve ever seen these earbuds go for. They are even more affordable than the lower-end AirPods 4 with ANC! There is no reason not to upgrade to Apple’s best wireless earbuds.
The heavy discount is likely due to the fact these are from 2022. Don’t dismiss these for their age, though; they still hold their own in the market very well in 2024. These have great sound quality, and excellent ANC performance. The tips help block out external noise and make for a better fit. There’s nearly no chance these will fall out on their own, which is something regular AirPods users often complain about.
Additionally, you will get an IPX4 rating, so there’s no need to worry about sweat or light exposure to liquids ruining the Apple AirPods Pro 2. Just like the new AirPods 4 series, these come with an H2 chip, which will improve performance, feature support, and audio.
You will get all the fancy features you can expect from a high-end set of Apple earbuds. My favorite is auto-switching between Apple devices. It works like a dream. They will also auto-pause whenever you remove the earbuds. Other features include stem gesture and press controls, spatial audio, wireless charging, etc. And if you care about battery life, we managed to get five hours and 43 minutes per charge. That’s without counting the extra 24 hours the case offers.

If you don’t care much about the ability to throw your headphones in a pocket and easily carry them anywhere, you can consider upgrading to Apple’s very best headphones. Both the USB-C and Lightning versions of the AirPods Max are also on sale.
If you’re wondering about the differences between these models, they are basically just the port and some new color options. Otherwise, they are pretty much identical. I am kind of tired of the Lightning port, so the USB-C offer looks more enticing. That said, you can save $100.99 if you go for the Lightning model. I might not mind keeping a Lightning cable around to save a bit over $100 bucks! Either way, the choice is yours.
Regardless of which model you pick, the Apple AirPods Max are amazing. The audio quality competes only among the best headphones, as does the impressive ANC performance. Even the transparency mode is outstanding. The design is gorgeous, and the build quality is very solid. We also love how comfortable these are.
Of course, you’ll also get all the fancy features, such as auto-switching, auto-pausing, spatial audio, etc. And if you’re worried about charging, battery life is actually pretty good at about 21 hours, according to our tests. The only downside is that these have no IP certification, so you might want to be more careful with them.
